If there could be a DC/Marvel movie, what characters/storyline would you pick?

I know it'll likely never happen. It's pretty few and far between that these companies can ever team up for comics. A chance for a movies team up would be even more remote with all the studio complications.

But, if by some miracle it were to happen, what characters would you pick? And do you have a storyline in mind for such a movie.

I think they'd have to start small. I couldn't see any way they could fit two teams (Avengers/JLA) into one movie.

Maybe start with two street level heroes like Spiderman and Batman? Or Wolverine and Batman? Two characters with roots in mythology like Thor and Wonder Woman? (that might make the meet up of characters from two different universes a little easier). Two big names like Iron Man and Superman (though Superman is so powerful, it could be a bit difficult to craft a story).

Any thoughts?

I always preferred the crossovers that just assumed the characters lived in the same universe. Much simpler and easier that way.

Too much brooding for one film to handle.

I vote Deadpool/Flash. Wisecracks abound.

I'd go with Spider-Man and Batman crossover. I think those two could play off each other well.

The Fantastic Four/Superman vs Galactus crossover from a few years ago would be a good movie.

Would love to see the x-men/shi'ar storyline from sometime in the 80's but I doubt it would ever get off the ground

Assuming you mean Wally West and not Barry Allen.

And can I pick the Amalgam Universe

ETA: Just to be off the wall, a Deadman and Morbius team-up. Supernatural, but not conventionally supernatural.

I would like to see an animated series that follows the Marvel vs DC mini series from the 90s as well as the one shot Amalgam Comics stories.
