Jameer Nelson responds to Dwight Howard

Howard told KCAL-TV in L.A. recently that “my team in Orlando was a team full of people who nobody wanted, and I was the leader and I led that team with a smile on my face.”
“At some point, when are you [Dwight] gonna as a man, when are you going to take ownership and stay out of the media in a professional manner?” Nelson told the Sentinel after Wednesday’s shooatround in Miami.
“I would be less of a man to comment on certain things that people comment on about me and my teammates. We had a great run as a group, as core guys, and he was a part of it (reaching the 2009 Finals) and for him to say things about anybody in a negative manner, that’s up to him.

I'm sure Dwight's thinking of a way he can crawfish out of what he said.

So in the course of the last year, Howard has gotten two coaches fired...is attempting to get another one fired...and has thrown his former and current teammates under the bus.
I have heard it said before...if the first person you meet in the morning is an a-hole, maybe he really is an a-hole...if everyone you meet the rest of the day is an a-hole...maybe you are actually the a-hole.
I think ol' Dwight would do well to embrace that perspective.

I've always been a fan of Jameer Nelson since college. Always pulled for him when I watched him in the league. I love that he was able to call out Howard the hoe in such a manly/professional way. Props to him.
