What happened to him? I was his biggest fan at LSU and he has just wasted his talent.

Ever since he got to Charlotte it's been down hill...not pretty.

He had great shot blocking ability and has grown since his time in college. He just seems content getting a paycheck. He did well in Chicago but has always been in the dog house with Charlotte's many coaches.

No, they couldn't.

Anthony Davis > Tyrus Thomas
Ryan Anderson > Tyrus Thomas

Dude needs to get his head out of his arse or he's going to be out of the league in a couple of years.

Scott Skyles didn't like him in Chicago, either. The "lazy" tag has followed him his entire career.

Skyles at least played him and he put up decent stats there. Tyrus (#4 pick) vs. Bass/Davis (2nd round picks who both start). Who'd have thought.

Thomas is one of those college stars I guess that cant make it to the next level; what has Jodie Meeks done in the NBa? Any good? I only mention him because I remember thinking that Marcus T. Would get screwed out of the SEC POY by him because he was a kentucky player; fortunately not the case)

This is what happens to NBA PF's who never develop a jump shot these days...oh, and your name isn't Blake Griffin.

He would excel under a no-nonsense coach like Pops. Silas was probably the worst thing that happened to him. Once he went in his hole, he had no interest of climbing out.

Tyrus Thomas sucks. He was drafted for his athletic ability and then he got to the NBA and all of a sudden the coaches realized you can't win because you have a guy who can jump high.

No offence to TT but he isn't that good anymore.

He excels at low post defending against less athletic players. He is a third string PF at best. At least he made his money and got us to the Final Four. He just couldn't develop himself anymore.
