Do you watch a lot of taped concerts?

I have the palladia channel and they show a lot of concerts. Some are from music festivals, some are just standard concerts, but I generally find myself watching/dvring one or two every week. I'm currently watching the stones, some girls live in Texas 78.

Am I alone in doing this?

I've got that one too, but I find that I use palladia much more, for unknown reasons. I also just set my DVr for 6 or 7 concerts through Friday.

I must have seen Foo Fighters at Wembley and their Back and Forth documentary at least 10 times.

Also, although I'm not a huge AC/DC fan, their concert is Brazil is pretty awesome. The energy in the crowd is unreal.

Just recently saw Blackberry Smoke at a Zac B concert...was blown away. What a great band that is not getting the props they deserve.

Palladia is my go to channel when its not football season. PBS had Albert king and SRV last night from 1983. Good stuff.

I had the audio bootleg of this show for a while and didn't think anything of it. Saw the film at a movie theater and was very impressed. Band was so damn tight and sloppy at times but it was in your face. Doesn't top 'Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones' for me (I'm a huge Mick Taylor fan).

I will stop down for a concert whether it's on VH1C, Palladia, AXS, or PBS. I also break out either DVDs or VHS. My favs:

Stones - Ladies & Gentlemen....
Elvis - Elvis in Concert 1977 & Aloha From Hawaii
GnR - Use Your Illusion Tokyo
Faces - Sounds For Saturday BBC '71
Robbie Williams - What We Did Last Summer: Live at Knebworth
KISS - The Summit '77
Neil Diamond - Love At The Greek

No way. I LOVE my concert dvds. I especially love all the amazing concerts that are streaming live from around the world. Register at IROCKE.com and you will get weekly emails of what's happening. Bob Weir and Ratdawg played last night. With festival season coming up there is all sorts of good stuff.

Beatles rooftop. Great finish by the legendary band, and it's a lot of fun to watch.

Also watched what was basically a Rolling Stones concert at an IMAX theater.
