very creepy because unlike the majority of horror films, that type of thing is pretty realistic and can actually happen. I thought it was well done.

Probably the scariest movie I've seen the past 10 years. Not even kidding.

everything would have been perfectly fine if the dumbass had stayed put in the corner of the bedroom with that shotgun until the morning.

I agree with the above posters, I was embarrassed at how I acted in the movie theater.

EDIT: That single knock on the door...

That was pretty scary too. But sometimes, gore and violence ruins a horror movie for me if they over do it.

Scariest movies I've seen the past decade:

1. The Strangers
2. first half of Insidious
3-. ...........

A rip off of a scene in Halloween? A scene that's executed much better.

Watched it by myself late one night. Literally had to stop the movie, get up, turn the lights on and step away before I could finish it. I was like WTF this movie is creepy. I think it was the way it makes the viewer feel so vulnerable that made it work so well.

I'm guessing you watched it with family. Watch it alone.

The area I live in is exactly like that. It's very realistic.

Only movie I've had legitimate fear in
