They are according to this writer from ESPN. I personally dont agree with the writer and i feel like he is creating the feeling rather than there actually being one

LINK

quote:

So we need this. A new franchise to root against, a franchise with cocky ownership that believes it can buy division titles --apparently 14 of them.

And is it really crazy to believe that the dodgers, a historical top 5 franchise in baseball, has expectations to win

The writer didnt say that. But who else would you put in there instead of the dodgers? They have the 3rd most wins, 2nd highest winning percentage, were tied for the 5th most world series wins until the giants won this year, 3rd most pennants, 6 100 win seasons, 3 most division titles, hall of fame resume that is only beat by the yankees, etc

Also made the playoffs 28 times, played in 18 world series, etc

I was agreeing with your first statement.

ETA: I should have been more clear. My apologies.

The Dodgers have won two playoff series in the last 25 years. Rooting against the Dodgers is like hating the Knicks. What's the point?

While I didn't read the article, I'm assuming that the writer chose them because they are going to surpass the Yankees in payroll this year.

nah

the Angels, Arti Moreno is a glory hunter, let him spend to the skies, and not make the playoffs.

And i'll enjoy when Pujols needs a motorized scooter to get to home plate to DH, while making over 25Mil per. lol

Worst contract in baseball history!

I'm a life long Dodgers fan.......since the Steve Garvey era. I just hope they make the playoffs.
