I've watched a few of their games this year and I'm impressed with both of them. If they were both available I would go with Harris. He could fit in well with this team. What do you guys think

Drafting a p layer like Harris, makes us more flexible as
an organization. He could possibly fill a void.

There is no bigger void on our roster than a dynamic 3, which is Porter.

I think Harris is more dynamic than Porter. In case this whole EG thing doesn't work in our favor, Harris would fill his shoes better than Porter will.

How high would you draft Joe Harris?

I would think late first round. I like his size (6'6 230), He's athletic, and has a high basketball IQ. I could see him fitting in well on our team.

Otto Porter doesn't have those things?

I don't watch much college basketball, but there has to be a reason Porter is a top 10 pick and Harris is nowhere to be found on a mock draft.

Their stat sheets are similar, but it's something about Porter's game I'm not too sure about, He's good, but I don't know how well he would fit in on this team. On the other hand Harris'game is more aggressive. He attacks, plus I like the fact that he 's been consistent all 3 yrs for the Cavs.

Pigment?

I was thinking more of potential, but judging from the stats pigment could also play a role.

No matter how good you think Harris is, you never pick a guy in the lottery that can be had in the 2nd round. These two guys shouldn't be compared as draft picks because they are to be considered for two different parts in the draft.
That said, I like Joe Harris' game and wouldn't mind picking him up in the 2nd round. Consider his stats deflated from playing in Tony Bennett's system. You'd have to think playing in a more offense-oriented system would probably account for a 3-7 pt increase in his scoring average and 1-2 more assists.
Still, with that considered, his home/road splits are troubling. He's been really subpar on the road in ACC play. He hasn't scored his average yet in any conference rd game.

Harris wasn't very good today. 4-11 shooting for 14 points. 3 boards and 3 assists.
Otto Porter went off yesterday, too.

Porter, no question about it. Dude is dominating in the Big East and can shoot the lights out from 3.
