I think I heard that he was hurt or had a nagging injury last year. It would explain why he regressed in his Sophomore season.

Will he be back? What about Blue? Anyone hear how he is progressing?

With Hill, Hilliard, Blue, and Copeland - IF everyone is healthy and plays the way they have played in the past when they played well - we should have a powerful running game.

But, depending on how guys bounce back, depth might be a question mark. What do you think?

Blue will have a breakout year if he stays healthy.

It does matter. We never have a RB stay healthy all season. We need at least 3 guys.

It matters.

I like this stable of RB's hopefully they all stay healthy and out of trouble. Hilliard will get a chance to prove himself.

Hilliard was dealing with a couple of new additions to his family during the middle of last season.

Kenny gone after this year. We'll lose Hilliard, Blue, and Hill. LSU better get 3 RBs in this class.

Kenny Hilliard rushing stats:
# Carries Yards YPC Long TD's
2012 82 464 5.7 71 6
2011 62 336 5.4 25 8

Everyone on here says he regressed but how is that even remotely true?

I believe he just didn't look as amazing as he did his freshman year. He did is much more quietly.

His only problem was not getting carries at the end of the year.

Yeah I know, but lack of opportunity does not mean he got worse like people are saying.

Kenny fumbled twice against Towson and spent the rest of the year focusing and not fumbling instead of trying to gain yards. This led to him running soft and going down on first contact.

Does matter. One tackle away from sitting out games.

Derek Ponamsky said Hilliard had either one kid or twins during the season. And if that's the case I can see him not being focused

Why does everyone assume Hilliard is leaving? I'm not naive enough to say he won't, but has this ever come out of his mouth?
