Its easy enough to argue that a strong FSU helps no one as much as LSU. They compete for the same kids as UF and Bama.

They have recently landed the majority of the major competition we have on the recruiting front. Big LSU bonus IMO.

Not really. We don't ever play the kids they land.

You would be surprised at the amount of kids UF and FSU don't commonly pursue. We go after some of the same skill kids, but usually have so many targets it really doesn't matter. UF targets different types of kids on the OL and DL typically.

Read that as "in play for"

Thomas Jernigan and Mario Edwards are the recruits I first mentioned

I think y'all are interpreting each others' statements incorrectly.

One is saying LSU never plays FSU. The other is saying we compete for some of the same recruits.

Two major battles in 5 years. Not major competition.

But act like you have a stick in your arse if you want.

Troop, the weight guy from Bama, burns, all on FSU staff.

How are those not three of our most serious recruiting competitors now going to an ooc school we compete with less than Bama and UF.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Ok, Ej Manuel is a third. And that's not even digging.

But you can ignore that if you want. Carry on

Dude multiply the number of recruits we battle FSU for times three or four minimum to equal Bama and UF individually.

IMO thats not a true statement. We dont need FSU(or Miami) to be great again and start raiding all the top players in Louisiana like they did in the 90's. It isnt a coincedence that when began LSU began its rise to college football powerhouse those 2 programs started to decline.

Perhaps your age or memory prevents you from recalling how many studs from Louisiana they stole in the 90's...Don't get too carried away with the FSU thing (although I get your point about the current situation, and agree to an extent).

Yeah but LSU wasn't getting any of the top guys then.

I would rather see a top guy play for FSU than Bama.

We really need FSU in the east to balance some things out. FSU in the SEC would hurt Bama bad.

Not to keep the lsu vs Florida thing going but I remember a running back I believe named Jermaine Thomas or something like that. Also we lost an I'm state stud o lineman RYAN how field to fsu as well.

I also think it was a WR in the past 6 years that chose them over us. Can't remember name. I think lsu didn't offer
