Pitching Matchup:
Lamar - True Freshman RHP Jayson McKinley making his collegiate debut.
LSU - So LHP Cody Glenn - 1-0, 5.62 ERA, 16.0 IP, 6 BB, 16 SO in 2012
Key Starters:
Lamar:
Jude Vidrine - RF - .600 AVG, 2 2B, 3 RBI
Sam Bumpers - SS - .563, 1 2B, 1 HR, 8 RBI
Seth Dornak - DH - .533, 4 2B, 4 RBI
LSU:
Chris Sciambra - CF - .625 AVG .750 OBP
Alex Bregman - SS - .455 AVG, 2 RBI
Ty Ross - C - .333 AVG, 1 HR, 4 RBI
Lamar will be looking to avenge their 5-4 loss at the Box last season. Lamar is a team that is built to run the bases as they had 14 doubles, 1 triple and were 5-5 in the SB department in 4 games against Northern Kentucky. They hit one homerun in those 4 games. Usually LSU goes with a pitching committee in these midweek games so I would look for Glenn to throw 3-4 innings followed by a plethora of relievers.
Lamar currently leads the all-time series against LSU 5-2.

I guess only certain people have permission to make a thread about a game?

What is with all the banning? Are we not allowed to start threads about a game that is taking place tonight? A thread was started about the basketball game yesterday. Just trying to provide some information about tonight's opponent and stir up some baseball talk. I would have thought you guys were on board for this.
