You must not be a big Zeppelin fan... Which is okay, but your opinion on both items you mentioned, while I won't say it is "wrong," is definitely in the minority. Here is an article I found really quickly on the violin bow subject.

I would love to see them play together but I think it's a big if.
By 2014 page will be in his 70s health will play a huge part in any reunion.
I just don't see it happening, however if it does I'll take at least a month off of work to see 20-30 shows.
Amazing that hate that Zeppelin gets on here from some...

the thing about Led Zeppelin is that the whole was greater than the sum of its parts....and they had INCREDIBLE parts.
Not sure a tour makes sense at this juncture. only JPJ is still in great playing shape. there are a lot of miles on Plant's vocal chords and could a 70 year old Page stand up for a year long tour for 2 hours plus every night? that is a grueling and honestly none of htem need the money.

I'd rather see Dave Grohl on drums than Jason. Is that wrong?

I love Zep but the violin thing was also stupid and gimmicky,IMO. It sounded like shite.
Jon Por Birgisson makes it work like a charm, but the way he uses it makes more sense than Page.

One thing is for sure:
It's been a long time since they rocked and rolled. It's been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time. Yes it has. :rimshot:

It's amazing that critics worldwide praised the O2 show, the DVD/CD has sold millions of copies, but people on TD know WAY more...
lol, fanboy.

I also hesitate to call him creative since so many of Zeppelin's songs were straight rip-offs of earlier blues tunes.
And so it begins.
