Eh, I'm not as bothered by the bad shooting.

Shooting zombies and shooting while under return fire are two very different things.

True but they did pretty damn good when they invaded the gov's compound. Just thought the scene was pretty crappy.

Crazy Rick storyline bugs me mostly because he has been such a rock for the group and now comes across as weak. If the guy would just take a nap Im sure he'd be rght as rain.

Glenn is being a huge buttpussy and needs to get a grip and move on. Even if Maggie were raped you have , a mad man after you, a broken leader, a baby, dwindling resources and by all accounts a few million zombies wating for you. Her honor and his pride need to be put on hold.

The Zombie bomb was epic. But the shootout was pretty silly.

The Zombie bomb was ridiculous. They let loose 10 walkers that pretty much shamble everywhere. How you get cornered by them I have no idea unless surprised. Biggest deal was cutting the fence. That sucked.

I am about to finish season 2 on Netflix, and want to catch up. Does anyone know where to find the first half of season 3?

I didnt count the zombies but it seemed more than 10. It served a purpose on multiple levels for me.
It will take time and resources to dispatch them. You mentioned the fence. Thats a governor gift that will keep on giving until its closed. It atleast in the interim will cease all supply runs. Its a huge distraction and obviously shows the that the governor is not a man to take lighlty. (like Glenn talking about waltzing in and smothering him with a pillow would have worked)
Thats why I thought it was "epic". JMO

Like I said earlier, the "zombie bomb" I believe was intended so that the driver could get away due to the distraction of the zombies. That is the only realistic explanation. Them getting cornered by the zombies wasn't bc of the zombie bomb but the fact that zombies had been surrounding the prison for awhile now bc of the noise. The truck knocked out the wall of the prison thus letting the zombies in.

The entire scene was ridiculous bc of the shooting but I think the above points can be justified.

I really thought for a second that both the Rick and Glen storylines were to get them outside the prison so they would effectively "flank" or "have the drop" on the governor's crew. But alas, it didn't seem to work out that way and I guess they intend on keeping those plots alive for now.

Shooting humans is hard. Shooting zombies is easy

While I agree with that point, not one of them on either side had any sort of aim.. it was a little bit over the top, imo.

Every week this thread is full of comments about how shitty the latest episode was..... My question is why do you people still bother watching?

The issue is this...by now there should be some sort of tactic for killing large number of zombies. There isn't one. Nothing. It's been what...a year at least since Z Day. They still are as disjointed and lacking a routing as ever.

I feel like they could just have Michonne go do her thing in the yard and get rid of them in a matter of minutes.

Zombies dont just line up for headshots bro. The sequence in taking the jail seemed very organized and pretty much any zombie mission has to me also.

Every one has a plan until a zombie bites your buddies face off....

It's fun to nitpick the show, but I don't think many are saying that the episode was shitty...and even when they do, I assume they mean shity compared to other episodes of the show, not that the episode actually sucked.

Rick and company are extremely efficient at it. Remember the season 3 opener last year when they're scavenging houses and offing zombies with blunt weapons (and even skipping past a lot of walkers too)?

Ive never been in a real firefight but have played mil-sim war games and even in that setting when you are getting shot at my aim goes from shite to shittier.
Unless you are a well trained warrior aka USMC Im sure anyone could not be mistaken for a marksman in that scenario.

I agree with you wholeheartedly but the most consistent aspect of this show is the inability of the cast to make good decisions and seemingly run around doing the exact opposite of what someone smart would do in a ZA.

The comic isn't much better, they make just as many god-awful decisions in it.

ETA I guess my main point is that if you are expecting to watch this show and see good zombie apocalypse tactics and be impressed with how they handle everything, then stop watching.
