Yeah, I sure wouldn't fool with cooking chick peas from scratch just to chuck em in a dip. Just buy a can at the grocery store.

Maybe...but I doubt you can find dried garbanzos...but cans are everywhere.

Actually, The Piggly Wiggly has them dried. We have cooked them in bean soup before.

However I have no photos. Like someone else said, I would use canned beans in my hummus.

Haven't seen dried beans here, but I'd be hard pressed to cook them for a dip. I like the canned product, too.

Sabra is at Super1, Brookshires & Sams. Best prepared hummus I've found. Toasted pine nut is my favorite, but the plain and roasted red pepper are good also.

if you're ever in texas stop by an heb and check out the central market hummus. pick up a bag of heb multigrain pita chips and profit.
