Yes PS3. Ok, I'm still using the Drake sword because of the damage level. I'm not sure what weapon to use. I have a Pyromancy character. I like magic but did not want to only build a sorceror. I'm keeping my build somewhat even with a little more in strength. Any suggestions on what weapon I can look forward to. I enjoy the axes but their damage is not what Drake Sword is.

Drake is fine to start but other weapons scale up with you level. You just have to compare the scaling and level up accordingly

What do you mean they scale with my level? If I have it in inventory and I go up a soul level, the weapon grows stronger as well?

You got it. You can look at the weapon and it will have a grade next to an emblem. Ex: next to a flexing arm is a +C. That means strength gives you a decent scale for that weapon. Check out dark souls wiki. Very helpful

up dexterity as much as possible and use Great Scythe +15. You will never need another weapon

Nah, not really. The game gets a lot easier, because you will get a lot better.

doesnt matter, you can level your character however you like. I like thief. Just make sure you get Master Key as your gift

I am a big fan of the +15 Demon Great Machete. My character is mainly strength and this has "A" scaling with strength. It isn't that great for PVP but it deals alot of damage. I would like to create a new character and either go with a magic/sorcerer or a dexterity build using the curved and smaller swords.
Hopefully I'll get around to it sometime soon.

Unless your a thief because you already have it ... so choose anything else ... if your not a thief then choose master key

I don't think I have ever posted my gamertag thing. I play on PS3, Beanis8. My only character is SL 180 or something like that. I can make a new one if anyone needs help on PS3.

I'm about a 45 Soul level. Someone needs to start working on another character. I tried to read wiki about this but still confused on how you know the weapon scales with what skill. I like curved swords but haven't ran across any yet.
