I have it at +15 and its pretty killer. It can get tough on the bosses though since you almost have to use Two handed to get the real power out of it .

I killed him off the bat my first play thru. I've made the mistake of not really trying use lower level weapons and max them out. I've looked at the stats and some aren't as strong as higher level weapons, even when maxed, but I keep reading about people on here doing work with some of them.
My favorites so far have been silver knight straight sword and black knight sword.
Couldn't really get in to the long swing times of halberds and scythes. I prefer weapons I can one-hand, but I think I'm going to try to adjust

that's a good one to do but don't forget that scaling doesn't work on augmented weapons and the scaling for that weapon is very good so don't pass over the +15 Uchigatana so slighty.

yeah man, it's tits. It's not a true multiplayer but if you have someone to chat with it's awesome.
Cliffs
-can be incredibly difficult and unforgiving (don't let some of these guys fool you...they've been reading this thread and getting guidance from those of us who played it blind the first time

-it's fun at first but the more you play it, the more you want it. it's an evil temptress. when you are playing it, you will often hate it. when you aren't playing it, you will crave it. it will haunt your dreams
-most addicting game i've ever played
-basically, it's dark fantasy. you against the world's ultimate evil and all its friends
Oh, it's not a new game. Came out in 2011 I think. It was recommended to me in a thread and I haven't looked back

I quit playing dark souls because it was to easy and no longer a challenge.

I seriously doubt id have any trouble running through the rest of the game. The rate i grind and my abilities to adapt to any situation make it to easy. Still a great game though.
I kep hearing aww the curse gonna get you here and there blah blah. Never once got cursed and just blew through the so calles tough parts.

I hit the wrong button did not mean to kill or aggro him in the first place.. Trust me having played MMORPGsb before i know don't kill NPCs. I got a +10 weapon right now with fire on it someone gave me for helping them.

It's not impossible. I've seen some sick challenge videos where a guy took on O&S with a thief in starting gear.
