I have got the worst you will ever see, where I aim just to make the fairway is ridiculous. And on top of that the distance is that of a 70 year old grandmother. It's mostly just on my drives, not so much my irons

So I come here for your help, any tips are appreciated.

Make your self hit the inside of the ball. Start your downswing with your body, not your hands/arms..

Mine used to be terrible and still comes back from time to time but for the most part I got rid of mine. And it was really bad.

Pay 40-50 bucks for a half hour with a pro. I wish I had a slice at this point. At least then I could control it a lot easier than this hook. At least with a slice it doesn't keep running once it lands.

Get a draw driver. You won't improve your swing, but its harder to slice. That's if you want the easy way out.

Just quit. It's impossible to fix. Seriously. I quit playing mainly due to a tendonitis issue in my left elbow, but the goddamn slice made my golf outings fricking miserable.

I would start out fairly decent, then as the round went on it would just get worse. I also always had a divot that looked like this \ after every damn swing. Couldn't fix it.

To make a short story long, frick golf.

When you aim to try and control your slice, you're actually only compounding the issue. Like another poster said above, you should put more emphasis on getting slightly inside the ball in your downswing. Don't let your right shoulder move outwards towards the ball in your downswing. Hope that helps, a bit.

Linking what jduidroz suggested: LINK

I've had a bad slice, but it has been getting much better. Gonna try some of this to continue to improve my slice.

1) if you're that bad, you shouldn't waste the money.

2) Just slow your damn swing down. Tempo, easy back easy forward.

I have never had a golf lesson in my life, and hardly ever play, but my swing plane was the reason for my slice. I figured it out through trial and error.

Swing too up and down, and I'd slice. Swing too wide and flat, and I'd hook it.

When I'd swing with the proper plane, I'd hit he ball perfectly straight.

And I never really sliced with my irons... just the driver.

Personally, I am a big fan of ball flight laws. When you have an understanding of why your golf ball goes where it does, you grasp an idea of how to fix it.

When looking at this chart, notice that your initial ball flight will always start on the down swing path. From there, it really depends on club face angle to path, and where the clubface is it impact. Hope this helps a little more.

Get a left handed driver. Then your slice will be a hook.

You might be surprised how often this works. Turn the toe of the club in. Take the same swing. You will eventually start hitting it straight and then left. Return club to natural position.

Take two weeks off, then quit.

Hit it with the pivot, kid. You are taking the club inside or coming over the top. Do you some times yank it dead left?

Probably the worst advice to give to a big left hand pulling, softball swinging, 90 degree slicing golfer.

Your slice comes from your swing plane coming from the first base dugout straight to third base. you're giving the ball a clockwise spin making it curve right. Reverse that trend and you hit a draw. Try to hit the ball to right field.

Is that Bingham in your sig?

And OP. Idk if it was mentioned but try closing your stance a little bit. You are probably coming across the ball.
