Sorry, to burst some bubbles, but it doesn't work like that. There won't be any TD1 vs TD2, TD2 vs TD3, TD1 vs TD3 action.

It's matchmaking based.
I believe....the leader will search for a clan. The search is based upon TH levels, troop levels, wall levels, and defense levels. NOT Trophy levels.

And if one clan has 50 members, another matched clan has 45 members. Only 45 of the 50 clan members for each clan can participate. It's rounded by multiples of 5. So if Clan A has 22 members and Clan B 17. Clan B can only have 15 participate, same for Clan A.


So, the way it works, as from what I understand...Is each clan member has a "War Village" This village is a duplicate of your regular village, but yet your regular village resources are unaffected when your "war village" is attacked. Once your clan has matched up with another clan, the War last 2 days. Day 1 is to prepare your base, make final touches to defense and trap placement, TH placement, and for the clan members to fill each others Clan Castles with troops. Day 2 is the actual "Clan Battle". Each clan member gets 2 attacks each "Clan Battle". (So someone with a maxed out TH9 probably shouldn't go attack a TH7, that'd be a waste of an attack that someone in your clan at TH7 could attack instead). Yes, you can attack a village that has already been attacked by another clan member or yours, but their "war village" defenses are reset and you must capture more stars than the previous attacker or it doesn't count towards your clan's star total for that "Clan Battle".

The "Clan Battle" is won by whichever clan amasses the most stars from their 2 attacks per clan member. The winning clan gets a ton of loot, while the loser gets a bit. No details on how much or how little from what I've seen. And I don't know if you keep the loot you get from your 2 attacks on these War villages or not. Also not sure how they divide up the spoils amongst clan members either.

Obviously, you'll want to put your TH's inside your base and not on the outside for a farming layout or that's an easy star for the other clan.

People who have left say the majority of them aren't from TD.com and inactive in the clan. Took up to a day to get troop requests and they were low lvl troops.
