How high will Kaepernick rank as a fantasy QB next year?

Keep in mind we're talking fantasy here not overall. Your fantasy elites will still be the same; Brees, Rodgers, Peyton, Brady. Then you can make a case for a group of people, but what about CK? Will he be right there around 5 or 6 or is there a second tier of QBs above him?

Well quarterbacks who can score with their feet have ranked pretty high on the points list last few years, he plays on a damn good team, so he would rank high.

After your elites then fantasy wise you would probably have Ryan, Newton, RGIII, Romo, Luck, Stafford, Wilson before the next drop off.

Ryan, Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Newton, and RGIII wre only QB's to score over 300+ points last year in our league. Then Romo, Luck, Stafford, and Wilson all scored over 275.

I would put Colin right in middle of that second tier of players and possibly the bottom of first tier.

I'm in a keeper league and have Luck. I took him simply as a play for the future, knowing I'd have my QB spot locked down for next 10 years. Now, I'm considering keeping 2 other players and maybe picking up CK. I could still have him for years, and he brings that added running element.

Him being larger than RGIII means he is less likely to break down. I think he could be a Top 5 Fantasy Producer for years in that system. He has a Top 5-7 TE (Gronk, Graham, Hernandez, Gonzales, Davis?) a Top 10 RB, and a possibly Top 15 to throw to plus top unit offensive line to protect him.

QB is going to be so deep next year. I'd honestly be fine with Kaep, Wilson, Newton, Luck. No way I'd use a first round pick on a QB next season with that depth

Probably somewhere between 8-12. Depends how you value him.

I'm with you and I ususally like the stud qb. It feels like there are going to be more RBs next year as well.

I bet he'll go higher than 8-11th simply because he has a whole offseason of fantasy hype to build. He had so much exposure exposure due to the SB run.

This all means I probably won't be drafting him next year, bc the value likely won't be there.

I'd say he'll rank somewhere around 7-9.

Rodgers
Brees
Brady
Manning
Ryan
Cam
Kaep
Luck
Wilson
Stafford
RGIII

QB is soooo deep, incredible.

Eh, there is still a gap after the top four. The owners of Ryan, Kaepernick, and Wilson will be disappointed IMO.

Unless you're a terrible drafter, having a top 5 quarterback usually gets you into the playoffs by itself.
