Bob's bayou black marina. Go south of the intercoastal. Fish dead end canals. Waters muddy as hell. Couldnt find any clean water today but still managed 4 bass and 6 crappie.

And try to find clean water. Paper said 20lbs won the tournament there two weeks ago, with spinnerbaits early in dead end canals off the intercoastal.

Those guys were in the 70 canal for a good part of the day. Not saying they caught them all there, but they were culling in there.

If I had to fish public water, I'd probably start in the School board area and work down towards penchant.

those guys lied to the paper, they sat in one spot the entire day, I saw em...anyways, that area has muddied up and got pounded all week along with 2 tournys this past weekend, it didn't produce much

the water has muddied up, but you really have to know it to find good water, dead ends are where you'll find it...that's not to say you can't catch em in muddy water

Just got off phone with buddy, he said Mechant is still covered up with ducks. Are ponds are loaded too. Grass started growing back with the warm weather so we have a bunch of feed.

AboveGround is a tourney guy, he's only going to Verret cause he's scouting for the next Media event.
