What are the cool kids call the tiger face on the helmet these days?

That is "angry Mike. The others, to me at least, are "Sailor Mike" and "Toonces".

I call our helmet tiger an indecipherable mess that's a holdover from the 1970's. I hope you all realize that this tiger head wasn't even on our helmets prior to 1972, and the hideous "electrical tape" letters weren't added until 1977. I'm all for tradition, but if you really want to go old school, go back to the numbers on the helmets like back in the Billy Cannon days.
We need to get rid of both the hideous letters and the indecipherable tiger head and freshen our helmet - it's very, very outdated.

That Tiger is the one that is our national brand. Sloppy copies of it look like a chrysanthemum, but done right, it does POP.
The helmets are classic--best in football. Maybe tweak them with a white border on the letters, or spruce up the font, but otherwise, the whole thing works for me.

You want our helmets to look like a different colored bama helmet? No thanks.
The helmets have been the same since the 70s because they're awesome and need no change.
