What is your definition of "trendy"? And what are you in the mood for?

Mood for just about anything. Trendy is all of the normally named places. Like the respone above yours.

Is Coop's Place or Fiorella's too trendy?

Little Gem on S. Rampart is new and may be worth a shot.

TuJacques definitely not trendy in the least, but after 100 plus years must be doing something right.

So you specifically don't want us to think you're cool for having eaten there? I'd think you were pretty uncool if you ate at Bubba Gumps.

I think they just stand near Esplanade on Decatur and pour a pack of unsalted peanuts into a PBR.

Not sure if I get the meaning of trendy here. Johnny's has been a great spot for years. Also some of other places. I mean if he wants a place that only locals know about than ask for a local hangout, but I wouldn't call Johnny's or Galatoire's trendy.
