He said the Stone Enjoy By is all I can remember. I was mainly arguing with him about the Endeavor not being produced anymore this year. I think he said about 20 new beers, he said there would be a craft beer "explosion" in this area. Lets hope. They also had some of the new Sam Adams, I bought the Third World DIPA and it was damn good and one other bomber I can't think of now.

I've had conversations with him before that I walked away like WTF. Somethings I've known to be patently false and others that just sounded wrong. I don't really care as long as good beer stays on the shelf. They never have fresh IPA which is bothersome but hopefully that is about to change.

Fine, I'll leave some too, seeing you were kind enough to pass that along.

No problem man, glad to see another craft beer enthusiast in LC.

fresh IPA

The Sam Adams Third World DIPA was something he must have just got, give it a try. I think it was under $6 for a bomber. I know that Endeavor he had on sale for $3.99 was old as hell. I bought some in Hou a few weeks ago that was bottled 1/11/13
If we can get a fresh supply of Hopitoulas I'll be happy

It's in, but not in the system yet. Luckily they let me grab one 4 pack anyway. I let them know they may want to get on that, since there may be a couple guys coming by this afternoon

I saw someone ask about the beer place in downtown LC earlier. It's ok, mostly the same stuff they have everywhere else. The only things I found there that I haven't gotten other places was Clown Shoes. The manager there is really nice and actually ordered a few things for me that they didn't have on the shelf.

I'm excited to hear about new stuff at Hokus. I'll try to go check it out later this week. Along those lines, I do have some more good news that LC is going to be getting Goose Island soon. I know it's InBev now, but I would like to try BCS at least.

I sure hope that Bourbon County Stout comes with the rest of the Goose Island bottles, but I do not have my hopes up for it.

Not getting my hopes up either. But need to host a tasting again soon, if you get my drift...

We're supposed to get some here in Texas. The distributor I talked to said it wil be very limited, but the label has been approved by TABC. So, it should happen. I would think LA would get some on a pretty limited basis as well, but you never know.

I actually just traded a bottle of Abyss for a 4pack of 2012 BCBS. I've never had it, so I'm pretty excited.

It was not in the system when I was there. The guy came out with a four pack. I said "Sir, I wouldn't waste your time for just a four pack, can I have some more?" He started laughing pretty hard. Said he would sell me every damn one of em. I figured I would be nice to Envy though so I left a couple. When I was checking out, he asked me how I knew they had it in. I told him there was a beer crew just waiting for them to get their new stuff in and we all talk. He almost seemed a little nervous. Almost like he was looking at a beer mafia or something. It was weird.

You did very well in that deal. In my opinion.

Thanks man, they sold the only case they had the first day without even putting it on the shelves, I hope this sends a message to get more next time.

Yeah when I asked for it he went in the back and was laughing, shrugging his shoulders, saying something to the old manager guy. He then said just come on back here and look at what we got in. I also picked up a sixer of Full Sail IPA

A while back they had the full sail amber and something else but never got the IPA. Glad they added it.
