Did anyone catch the segment? Heard they went to Killer Poboys, but didn't hear where else.

I saw that bearded guy at Killer Poboys on Saturday. Knew he looked familiar, but couldn't place him. He ordered one but couldn't tell which. His voice is obnoxiuos.

Btw, I had three poboys from Killer over the weekend .. the braised beef was phenomenal, the grilled shrimp was different take and quite good, and the pork belly was quite unappetizing.

Almost went Saturday too but wanted curbside. Lets just say I was disappointed when I got to Barcadia and I didn't feel like going back into the FQ.

Our group was craving Curbside on Saturday night but of course we were collectively persona non grata. Too bad because when I had a KGB on Friday it was fricking great. Better than when I had it out in the old Metairie pop-up. Some of us settled for Saint Lawrence, others (who shall remain nameless) went to Cafe Soule.

You didn't like the pork belly? Too fatty? The sauce? What was it

way too fatty and also undercooked. I actually sent it back. maybe I just got a very very fatty piece of the belly but it was inedible to me. they were a little perturbed at first (started giving me a spiel about what pork belly is and yada yada - I think she actually used the phrase "pork belly is what bacon is made from.."). anyways eventually they acquiesced and were polite about it .. made me a shrimp and didnt charge me. they should have admitted that they shouldn't have served that to me though. it was an unfortunate looking poboy.

I was at St. lawrence Sat. evening and got the pork belly... I liked it..

They did frick up our order and were very slow, given the conditions they get a pass

I ate there Friday as well and it was much better than the pop up. Although next time I'm going to get one with out the pork belly spread. Maybe go with the fried cheese burger.

Mine was a little fatty too. But that's how I like it so it didnt bother me.

And the staff was nice, but I could tell what type of people they could possibly be.

Didn't watch the video but there is nothing traditional about Killer Po boys

The whole premise of them talking about Killer Poboys was that they do unconventional poboys.
