I'm through the first six episodes and I really like it so far. The first two episodes were pretty damn creepy.

Jessica Lange plays a great psycho.

i watched the whole season in about a week back in november. i liked it. wasn't crazy about the ending episode but i'm a fan of show.

jessica lange is great in both seasons. she has a better and broader character in season 2.

now that i've seen both, i originally had season 1 slightly ahead of season 2.

the more i think about them in retrospect now though i like season 2 more and season 1 less.

The first season was far superior to the second.

I also tuned in for this

how does this show work? are the episodes "stand alone" or is ita continuing story? Do they change cast from season to season or use the same characters?

What are these about? twilight zonish or more gorey stuff?

the seasons are stand alone. not the episodes.

For the most part. They do have some newer cast members in the second season though. They also have some season one actors who didn't have a part in season 2.

If I had to pick one thing about the fist season that I did not like, was that the ghosts had way too much physical touch interaction with the people who were alive. But maybe that was to confuse the audience to who was alive/dead.

I thought it had something to do with the fact that they appeared how people wanted to see them. And weren't they restricted to the house? I thought it was only on Halloween that they could manifest themselves off of the house grounds.

yeah though i've found if you get to caught up in supernatural rules, then you will never really enjoy either season.

That caught me a bit off guard and wasn't expecting it. Good twist.

I haven't seen a single episode of Asylum yet but I really enjoyed Season 1 a lot. A nice throwback to a lot of classic films from the genre and an intriguing story throughout.

I agree. They were nothing like real ghosts.

I thought both seasons started out really strong then kinda felt drawn out at the end. Overall I'd say the first season was probably better, though I thought the second season had more potential. They just ended up putting in too many story lines.

Jessica Lange was great in both seasons though. Dylan McDermott is pretty solid too

I liked the hot maid in season 1 better than anyone in season 2, but both the hot nun and hot prisoner were pretty good.
