I don't know why but I love this show. Shatner was fantastic and Spader was his equal albeit a slimy liberal.
The show was over the top. Half the time it made no sense but I still loved it.
I actually only started watching it right before it was cancelled. I fell in love with the show when Denny and Alan got into the paintball fight over Obama.

Great series.
If I remember correctly, they closed out the series after it wasn't renewed. Don't want to list any spoilers, but I remember it wrapping up nicely.

I watched like one complete season of it, really liked it
the story arc with the boy accused of murder who ended up being in a relationship with his mom
