Louisiana MLB fan breakdown

Reading the Atlanta offseason thread I noticed that a lot of the people in there were LSU/New Orleans related. For the people who are from or have lived there what is the most popular team and some of the other teams that are very popular there?

I'd say mostly the Braves, Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox or Rangers. Braves and Cubs due to TBS and WGN and well Yankees and Red Sox self explanatory.
Rangers popularity is of course jumping up heavily throughout the state though I find most fans are from up near Shreveport.
I was young when the Astros had their good run from the late 90's to mid 00's to remember if there was a lot of Astros fans popping up around here or not.

Cardinals here, I have family in St Louis.
A lot of Louisiana people are Stros fans because of proximity. A lot are Braves and Cubs fans due to the superstations. And then there are the frontrunning douches that like the Yankees, and of late, the Red Sox.

It sucks. I love baseball, and played it all my life but don't know who to root for. I like the Cubs, Mariners and Giants but never follow them.
