Is this the best weekend of the year for football fans?

I've always thought that conference championship weekend is the best. You usually have 2 highly competitive games without the dumb halftime show and media BS of the super bowl.

Last weekend is the best simply because you have games on both saturday and sunday

Nope. Last weekend is the best weekend.

I love conference championship week more than SB week.

Divisional round is the best. 2 games back to back on Sat. and Sun. More likely for a ridiculous game, and we've seen that a lot. The best games this year were Den/Balt and ATL/Sea and they both took place this past weekend. Last year it was NO/SF in the divisional round; which was the best game of last season. I think we could see more drama this weekend though. NFL playoffs are awesome.

Last weekend since there are 2 games on each day. But I used to think that January 1st was the best day for football. Not really anymore.

Labor Day weekend is the best. Start of college football season, and everything is still possible.

i'd rank them
1. Conference championship weekend- 2 consequential games to get to the Super Bowl with hype but not too much, rivalries, etc.
2. Week 1- every team plays and every team is 0-0
3. Divisional playoffs- when the playoffs truly begin

I wish they split the two games up SAT/SUN but yes I would agree this is probably the best weekend.

As far as the NFL goes I would say yes.
I used to love New Years Day for the bowl games in college football.

How can it be the best weekend without college fb?
Good weekend, but Labor Day weekend is the best.

The last day of the NFL regular season is often the same week as the New Years Day bowl games, so how is that not the best? The absolute perfect setup is when New Years falls on a Saturday because that means:
Friday - Day off work, NYE bowls, NYE parties
Saturday - New Years bowls, brunches
Sunday - Last day of NFL regular season
Bonus - Two more BCS games and the Cotton Bowl the next week
