I have a question. I caught a random Being Human episode last night and liked it. What season are they currently in? This is the sci-fi version I'm speaking of

shite. I don't have a lot of time to catch up on shows. I'm assuming Being Human doesn't run as long as a typical major network show huh? Meaning it doesn't have 20+ ep seasons.

I think it's a 13 episode show, and it's on netflix FTW! actually where I'm watching Being Human AND Lost Girl

I'm on episode 3 and I've already seen more death than all 3 twilight books combined?! actually I've never read or watched the twilight shit, but then again I hate all of that stuff as well.. this show is actually good.

I watched first 2 seasons of the British Being Human, but then heard a bunch of the cast members left the show. I never really gave the US version a shot because I thought it was derivative, and heard the British version was better. Whats the word on Being Human? Should I continue and finish going through the British seasons, should I give the US version a try?

I've never watched the British Being Human, and all of the discussion I've heard about the show has been for the NA version, so I don't know. All I know is the NA version is very good, and obvious they used a Canadian crew.. "Side-Boob-r-us"

Based on the parts I saw of each, the British version was superior to the US version. But I only watched the British one on and off through the first two seasons. And I only watched parts of a couple US ones. I may not be the best judge though, I found the British one decent but it didn't really grab me totally.

I've watched both versions. The first 2 seasons of the UK version are great... Season 3 is OK and then it drops off drastically. The US version is very good... To the point I wish I hadn't seen the UK version knowing now what's become of it. The first season of the stateside version runs very similar to it's counterpart... but then it starts to diverge dramatically for 2 of the 3 storylines. While the US version lags a little (not much) - I really think they've got the ship righted for this current year (season 3). Get caught up... if only to join the Monday fun.

yeah, this is nothing like Twilight. Twilight and Vampire Diaries was boring to me and I couldn't watch either in its entirety. I only checked out Vampire Diaries because Boone from LOST was in it.

If I've seen the first 2 seasons of the UK version where should I start on the US version? I don't think I really want to continue the UK version past season 3 knowing the actors leave, and the show begins to drop in quality. I might not even start the 3rd season for the UK version actually.
