We were 47-18 last year so probably over since I don't think we will be much better.

Probably right around there. I just hope we can get over the 50 win mark.

Well if LSU goes under 17 then 50 would be achievable, yes?

Our lineup will be stronger but losing Gausman significantly hurts our rotation. I didn't say we would suck, we won the SEC and lost in the Supers last year, but I don't think this team is a legit NC contender.

ETA: I just realized I worded that weird and maybe that's what you were talking about.

Probabaly over. 4 of our 6 national championship teams lost at least 17 games.

Really want to see who win the Sunday starter or if
it is who Paul feel like putting in that day. I also want to
see if McMullen can put some RBI up.

I'll say over but only because the SEC is so stacked and especially in the West. Not like 18-20 losses is a really bad thing though.

It really seems like all the needs were addressed. We added power, pitching depth, and I'm really excited about the newcomers in the OF. If someone emerges as the Sunday guy, I'll see you in Omaha. I'll be the big drunk guy

Giving away free money I see. A better O/U would probably be 19

I am going to miss lights out Gausman Fridays.

The offense is where the improvement is needed most.

you say that like it's a bad thing. sure we struggled at the plate, but we won the conference and were a game away from omaha. if we won't be much better, i'm fine with that because a little better gets us to the cws

the SEC lost some great players to the draft.

the SEC is wide open. I think going in LSU is the 1st or 2nd best team in the conference, considering the hitters they have returning.

I think 17 is the mark. We played up last year with a 20+ lose team and I think this years team is alittle better. I would dare to say SEC champs and 4 seed in CWS.

yep florida and usc got murdered with attrition. vandy, in my opinion, is going to be the team to beat this year. their pitching staff is scary good

Where have I heard this before?

Really looking forward to the season...and the in-game threads.
