re: OT Pet Snake owners

If handled frequently a ball is docile and one of the better species for a pet. I've had 3. Actually the only snake I've had as a pet that wasn't a "good" pet was an african rock python. She became more aggresive the larger she got. At 11' and 46lbs I finally got rid of her as she had become too aggressive and was dangerous.

I have witnessed a ball python biting someone as he was cleaning the cage.

I think it's a much bigger turn off if guys play a lot of video games. It's much worse than owning a snake.

Well good news, when this is the only broad you can land, then you can play video games AND own a snake

I would think those go hand and hand quite often.

But back to the original post - are you sure your trailer park allows snakes? Some of the newer ones probably don't.

I had a buddy with an Eastern Diamondback (no, he didn't have a stupid permit, wtf?). It got out. I did not go to his house again until he got a snake skin belt made out of the thing.

Big Daddy's had some huge snake under the stage the one time I was foolish enough to go in there. Sumbitch stunk up the joint worse than the lard arse on stage did.

That's why you don't own a huge snake when you have a baby.

This isn't hard.

How did you accomplish this? Where do all these adult snakes go when people don't want them anymore or are attacking infants?

We had chickens when I was kid. They didn't have any teeth, but holy shit, it hurt like a mofo when they pecked you on the back of your leg.

They are very hard to sell when they get that size. I researched several reptile "collectors" and donated her to one of them. He had a great setup for taking care of several large snakes.

Most folks try and sell them and when nobody wants to buy them they just turn thm loose somewhere. i.e. the Everglades
