Just my guess, I think MTL beats TOR on Saturday, and Boston loses to the Caps.

MTL has the tiebreaker over BOS.

I could see Boston losing to both the Caps and Sens to end the year actually so MTL may not even need to beat TOR.

Yeah I've heard of him, just recently too, kid is tearing it up at the U-18 WHC.

And at 16 is just unfair, even though he looks like he's 13.

just broke the record...he was given Gretzky/Tavares style permission to enter the OHL early...they say his hockey IQ is off the charts but for scouts to say they would take him over our Mooseheads boys is crazy

Signed a contract with Reebok just like Crosby at a young age, could earn 2 million before his NHL draft year in 2015.

Wears #97 for his birth year like Crosby wears 87 for his, he's his idol.

Went to a Pens game in Lemieux's box as well this year and met Sid after the game.

I didn't care really for either of those teams but really wanted CBJ to get in, and that looks highly unlikely now.

torn, I have family in Michigan and was taken to a lot of games at the Joe over the years...hard to root against the Wings for me...same with the Wolverines...my Granpa was offered a schollie before WWII by Michigan but went to war instead...

Wings will get at least a point I figure against Dallas and they've got the tiebreaker.

Dallas will come out flat and uninspired now that their playoff hopes are gone and the Wings will take it to clinch.

And then all MIN has to do is get 1 point between EDM/COL since they also have the tiebreaker over CBJ so the Jackets have really a 1% chance unless Dallas can somehow beat the Wings in regulation.

Islanders lose to Buffalo tonight and they clinch the 8 seed and a trip to Pittsburgh.

watching Canada Finland in the U18s looks 0-0 after 1 period...Canada's had the run of play all period and no score...always a bad sign in semi-finals for Canada

You're assuming quite a bit for this Dallas/Detroit game. While I could see the Stars lacking motivation, playing the spoiler can be fun as frick. Just ask a CBJ fan.

Yes, but moreso when you have been out of it, not just eliminated after a big late push that had you right on the cusp just days ago.

I don't expect much from the Stars given the situation especially with such a young team, but could definitely be wrong.

They need some help to get out of that 8 seed, not sure they could win any more but maybe 1 game vs the Pens.

If Dallas does pull it off, Columbus may burn to the ground.

Last night was the Devils last Home game and DeBoer sat Marty. Does this mean he is coming back? I expected a lot of Marty cheers but ended up turning it off.
