True story right there. Evan Williams is aged 8 years and Jim Beam 4. Beam is better that Jack because Beam is a bourbon and has better restrictions to how it is made. The best bourbon you can buy, other than some rare/500 dollar/last bottle was made 50 years ago, is Blanton's.

Read my whole post. I knew Jack Daniels in college. John Daniel is my wife's relative.

It's a saying...People call Jack Daniels the drink John Daniels. Then they say "When you've known as long as i have, you know to call him by his real name". Sorry it came off confusing, as I don't know your friends

Ill take makers over JD and god knows over anything labeled beam. Was partial to the kickin chicken at one point but we had a falling out over a rough morning.

Also, its way cheap on base here

Jim Beam makes knobcreek, booker's, basil hayden's, and maker's mark. All better than JD.

I love basil hayden! Favorites right now are Eagle Rare, Blantons of course, Woodford Reserve, Ridgemont Reserve, & W. L. Weller.

Old Forrester is better if those are the only choices.

Basil Hayden's was my favorite until I tried Blanton's. Bought my first bottle of Eagle Rare a few months ago....I was surprised at how good it was. If you haven't had Elijah Craig 12 year I would say try it but only in you like hints of vanilla.

I might be getting sucked in by the wax and shite but I really like Makers for the money. I have heard it really isnt all that good as far as quality goes but I have a shitey palate and I like it.
