This means he's not going to talk about hiring a new coach when there isn't an opening on his staff

I think he knows whose transferring and that they are transferring, but he likes to keep things quiet until the players are ready.

But Les used the word "transfer" when the question posed to him was concerning coaching changes.Transfers usually applies to players changing schools. This may just be semantics but considering Les's unique use of the english language, did him using the word "transfer" possibly apply to a certain coach or coaches?
