Miles Haters at their best. The Rantards are assuming there is a problem because they want a problem to exist....These guy are leaving because its time..If this happened at Bama or Oklahoma or USC you would all be saying "wow , look at all that talent!" Nobody would be saying, " There HAS to be a problem !"

When you compare what the usual suspects at the top of college football are losing due to seniors and a few early entries, it looks right about the same as us. The only thing I really worry about is losing 4 defensive ends but we all knew it would be like this before the season.
We bring back 3 starters on the oline, still have a stable of backs, core of the wr is back, QB & unproven but very talented te's.
3 solid experienced DLman, good experience LB's (I really like the fresh that got reps this year), young but experienced corners, solid safeties with loston & Martin with others that will compete.
How does this look any worse than anyone else.
We may not go 14-0, but we will be fine. September can't come soon enough with everything you read on here. If every major school was ran by the rant, Oregon, Wisconsin, USC, uga, fla, fsu, Texas, Oklahoma.......would be looking for a headcoach every year.

Just heard shepard talk on 104.5. He thinks its a testament to the program and how well LSU prepares you for the nfl.

Mentioned he loves LSU and ultimately is giving him a shot at his dream regardless of his up and down career. Also mentioned he didnt come to lsu to play qb, rb or wr. He came here to be the best football player he could be and to help this team in any way.

I hate to hurt Shep's feeling but not all these kids coming out are ready for the NFL. There will be some who won't be there too long. As much as I love them all some will burn out quickly. There have been many guys I thought were locks but didn't make it a couple of years in the NFL.

And if they came back for one more year, all of that would be different?

agreed....but if your draft status probably won't be elevated by playing another year then it is probably the right move. probably.

2-3yrs in the league...be smart with your money...come back and get your degree. win, win, win. get on wit that life.

past, present and future.

If you believe there is not a problem, you are neive! There is a huge problem within this team! This has never happened in the history of juniors declaring early! They see it coming from a mile away!
