I'm considering going but it's like 100% chance of rain from 5-10 with winds out of the south and 65 degrees. Almost too wet and muggy for my liking

You have got to either be getting an arse chewing at home or have one waiting for you when you get back to be out there tomorrow.

Been hit or miss and they just canceled my kids school tomorrow, but I am going to head out there.

That's my biggest cause for concern. I haven't seen ducks in better conditions. Why fight em in that shat?

Unless you know that place where the mallards pour in when the water in the woods backs up.

Yeah well I figured by the initial question you weren't much of a duck hunter.

I only got into it 3 years ago and have killed my share but based on the fact that I haven't seen shat lately I'm debating wether its worth fighting shitty weather when hunting hasn't even good.

Eta. is that supposed to mean

I was just shittin witcha. You're correct, most people I talk to are very disappointed.

There truly are spots in backwater flooded timber that attract mallards when it's flooded. A sunny, cold day would be better. Not going to be cold tomorrow either.

Myogi say, "Bad day of hunting still better than good day a work."

That's only true on some occasions. I had a hole in my boots in 35 degree weather the other day. Miserable 6 hours.
