Not high enough forth type of show it is. Winder what the cost is to put it on? I would think pretty high.

angie Candice finale

round 3 was a tie between Angie and Candace. Candace sang the hell out of that song and got a standing O from the judges. But I loved the song Angie sang in the piano. I didn't know it, though.

I. Just now watching. Jimmie picked a crappy song for Kris. I think the money men want a Candice/Angie finale and will set that up tonight.

I meant Kree. Stupid iPad.

I give Candice the top spot for Round 1. Angie gets #2, but I'm with NM once again. The girl had no emotional connection to that song. I just can't understand how that can be this late in the game.

Loved Candice.

If you watched Angie's going home performance, you saw her playing to the fans and feeling the song. Then, she sang her song tonight and she was into the song and not looking at the cameras with those stupid Marie Osmond looks. Made a huge difference. Her performance was believable. I really liked that one. the home visit turned on a light for her.

LOVED Kree. Great performance. Close call on this round they were all good. I give it to Kree. The other two are too close to call. Kree is going to have a career.

Round 3

Angie much improved again. She didn't pay as much to the camera as she used to do on the piano. She just played and sang it. She's finally getting it on feeling the songs. Good for her.

Dang. The judges just said everything I've been saying, but I guess hat will discount that.

Kree-another crappy song choice for her. It wasn't a bad performance. It just wasn't her. Wasn't a good fit.

DAMN! Way to close the show, Candice! I got goosebumps. That was fantastic. She put the other two in the dust with that.

Candice takes the night for me. I think Kree goes home even though I like her overall more than Angie. I think it might be better for Kree not to win with her genre. She's going to be picked up as soon she's available.

all I watched was their first performances so far, grad school finals are stressing me out I got one more tomorrow morning then i'm done. as far as angie looking at the cameras and looking unnatural I think that may be a result of the criticism of no emotional connection, she is trying to force it. she needs to just ignore all that stuff and just sing.

if she is doing this well with the lack of emotion criticisms she will be pretty amazing once she gets it. I'm pretty confident it will be an angie vs Candice finale which I think is the right call. I hope Candice wins it, the winner usually gets handcuffed with their first cd and they put out crap. angie needs artistic freedom she has a great voice and is a musician also, I think she can make a great record if she isn't forced into the commercial pop genre like so many AI contestants have been.

with round 1 kree had one of her worst performances to date, song choice may have been a factor but I just wasn't impressed. angie shined imo one of her best if not her best without the piano. jimmy said going without the piano was a mistake but I feel she has to every once in a while or people will start complaining all she does is play on it. Candice had another consistently solid performance nothing much more to say she is a terrific vocalist. overall I give round 1 to angie

Have you watched the rest yet and re-read my post? You said a lot if what I said. And, after they played the home visit, Angie sang without the piano and she got it. No playing to the camera. Huge difference. Round 3 wasn't her best but there was a big difference between that sing at the piano and previous performances at the piano when she was all those bizarre theatrics with her eyes and following the camera. I bet she'd be better live with no cameras. Long time ago I said it might be her youth.

I'm interested in your critiques for the rest of the night. I hope you're watching them now. Give me your rounds 2 and 3 opinions.

I find it surprising, too.

The lack of emotional connection cost her. She became the whole package a little too late. I know that's not the popular opinion, but its a fact. I thought she'd win it after she did her own song, but she disconnected after that. Judges said it. Jimmie said it.
Idolanalytics.com had it right which is surprising.

Angie will be fine. She'll write and perform her own songs. That's when she was her very best. Like hat said, its probably better for her career wise since she writes. She's a singer songwriter.

Could be, but I think Kree is going to nabbed as soon as she's available. Would have been better for her not to have made the finals. Might be better for all 3 at this point.
