don't be ridiculous. They may not be top 4 again due to their own failures, but people won't hold them out because of this game. Voters tend to have very short memories

well, the whole point of this thread is that the voters, the retards, are to blame. Not Notre Dame.

heck no... they will not join a conference until forced.

IMO they should be forced or not be allowed to play in these big games. It's ridiculous they can run through their Jr High schedule and make this game.

Why?

Aren't they getting to keep the entire payout for this game that would normally be split?

to blame? ND finished undefeated, the computers and the voters rewarded them.

The whole point is about whether they would like a shot at the championship in the near future. This was a perfect storm for them to get a sniff this year

i thought florida should have got this spot...

you can't play 12 average teams and claim it's a better schedule than 2 titans, 8 average teams, and 2 buy-a-wins

Yeah but if they go undefeated again they'll be right backin the mix. IIt's not like they're playing a Mt west schedule. There schedule will easily be as good year in and year out as Ohio state's would.

under our current system I have no problem with the matchup. That doesn't change the fact that the current system is the problem.

Now, try reading the OP as a whole and then answering

What the hell are y'all talking about? If you go undefeated, you should be able to play for the national championship. What else can you possibly do?

Tell that to:

Auburn 2004
Penn State 1994

and a bunch of non-BCS teams
