What would be so great about a lateral move to a worse team? Carmichael is getting head coach interviews already, and any more success he has as Saints offensive coordinator will net him a HC job soon enough.

Cause if he goes there and does anything close to the same he'll be an even hotter property.

I dont understand why people think losing PC will have no effect? This is the guy who called plays when Brees thre more TD passes than any other QB in the league. He is a offensive minded guy in the NFL, this isnt high school where one coach carries a team win or lose. I know for sure Sean Payton is going to have a huge impact when he reutrns but its because he is the head coach and its his system. With a above average QB and a good offensive line I think the Bills would become very scary with two prior Payton coaches at the helm. I dont want to lose the guy who has been with Brees since hes been a Saint. We have all seen what happens when we lose one of the trio.

Payton was going to come back and call plays most likely anyways, I expect someone like Lombardi to be promoted if that indeed does happen.

Unless Drew Brees and the rest of the offense goes to Buffalo, that is less than a good move

Professionally, why would you leave Brees for the Buffalo job? Stud QB? Stud RB? Stud OL? Not really. Stay here until a better job comes along.

Serious Question: Is Spiller really the kind of running back to carry a team to a winning season? I look at him as a Sproles/Bush complimentary back, not an every down back.

Don't get me wrong though, that boys good.

I'd be really surprised if he left CSP and Drew. He'll stay.

Yes he is. They need a better OC and some more playmakers at receiver. Defense needs an overhaul. On Carmichael, I don't know why he would leave the best situation at OC for a lateral move unless it was for money. I could only see him leaving to be a HC, not OC.
