In your opinions, who are the top 10 or so players in the state without an LSU offer?

Obviously, guys like Cam Sims, Terrance Alexander, Canty, McDowell, Palelei come to mind...who else do yall like?
Who doesnt have an offer that deserves one?

Any predictions on what happens at Boys of the Boot coming up?
Who gets offered there?

Godchaux is another guy I'd like to see land an offer.

McDowell will be a stud with another 30-40 lbs on his frame.

QB
Donovon Isom will get a strong look but likely nothing on this front either way until the summer.

RB
Sione Palelei has a shot but likely depends on other guys and likely not happening unitl Spring at the earliest and more likely the summer or lat in the year

Chris Thomas like Palelei pretty much all around. Bigger LSU stlye back

Darrell Williams the odds on favortie imo for the 2nd RB at least from instate. Still likely a sprin or summer guy

WR
Cameron Sims I think he gets offerd but I think not until the spring evals. Hopefully we stay on him hard until then

OL
Hunter Perrin C prospect that will be purely an evaluational guy much like Hoefield this year

DE
Godchaux sure offer and likely at "Boys from the Boot". Future Tiger

DT
Tae Thibodaux likely a camp guy
Garrard McDowell I think a no brainer offer just a matter of when. Possible at boys from the Boot
Courtney Garnett possible but likely a summer guy

LB
Kenny Young sure offer and likely next weekend
Raejuan Marbly eval guy that likely doesn't get a hard look until summer camp

CB
Terrance Alexander only way he's not an offer is because of us landing the studs from Texas namely Brown. We can only take so many CBs with Hardeman already on board and the hauls the last 2 years. Brown is the major target. Land him and we may close up shop at pure CB. I think Alexander could force the staff to offer him

Jermaine Roberts camp guy and also dependent on numbers

Corey McBride great speed but raw at any position. Could blow away camp an earn an athlete offer

S
Ricky Gibson pure numbers guy. If we land Jones, Paris and Simmons to go with Voorhies, no offer. Miss and he may sneak in

I don't think we offer an in-state QB in 2014; though, I still would like us to lock down a QB in that class.

We need 3 RBs in 2014, IMO. Assuming we land Fournette, I'd like for us to go after a change-of-pace back like Palelei as our first in-state option, with Thomas and Williams being the next guys on board.

I hope we can get all 4 of the big time in-state WRs (Dupre, Sims, Noil and Quinn). Dupre has unreal potential.

Agree.

I really hope so. Elite DL talent in-state has to be locked down any time they pop up.

McDowell first and foremost of all of those guys. Another 40-50 lbs, and he is an all-SEC type potential.

I agree.. I think Young lands a junior day offer, and Marbley could be a camp offer, but will need further evaluation.

Yeah, CB was addressed pretty heavily the last couple years, and with Hardemann already on board, Alexander will really have to turn heads to get an offer. I think it's definitely realistic, though; all I'm saying, is that I wouldn't be surprised if he gets Noel Ellised.

Again, our OOS guys are our primary targets for the safety position, so like you said, Gibson may be a residual guy if something falls through.

I really like Palelei and the way he runs the ball. I have seen him play some. He seems like a good kid as well. I hope for his sake he doesn't end up at LSU. He would be wasted there. I am hoping he goes to a more wide open offense where he can be used properly. I can't see LSU offering him except as a defensive back. He is tough enough to play there.

Brewhan, I completely agree with your stances all around but will talk about RB specifically. I'm in complete agreement about Palelei being the 1st option of the other instate guys, as far as my hope. We need his style of play at the position more than we need another straight forward power guy. Also think 3 is a must.

I think theres a good chance Godchaux gets an offer this weekend, and if that happens, theres a chance he jumps on it.

Kinda off topic but anyone know if its true if Tony Brown is coming to BotB?

and do yall think if we take 3 Rbs, they all come from in state?

Tony Brown will be the only person not from the boot there.

I think we take 2 from in state and 1 out of state...but that's my own personal opinion
