Herron had two sacks playing out of position at DT.
Not so fast...dude is growing into a DT. If he gets any bigger he's a DT here.

LSU in great shape for the future for most of these guys that starts this fall.

Herron and white are ballers. Smith should see a lot of time next year. Retting has all the physical tools.
Okay, but Rettig looked jumpy to me. I was unimpressed.
What would depress me even more is if Seals-Jones was an LSU commit. That guy is not even good enough to get a scholarship at LSU. A&M can take solace, though, because they have two receivers in this game who can play.

Jones will be a TE for A&M the way i see it hopefully a good blocking one

Why don't we have a Jersey Mike Sub in LA?
Because it's not that good.

looked like the second sack he was lined up at DE and criss crossed with the DT and he came inside untouched and dropped Browne. He and White looked really good.
Overall, I think the LSU recruits did well in this game and yesterday. Excited about this class.

1 week to learn plays and work with WRs and build trust in a makeshift OL; the defense is pretty much see ball, go get ball. QBs always look rough in these games, the thing to look at is the talent level of ability to move, arm strength, etc. He obviously will have to be more accurate, but I thought everything else looked pretty good.

and herron can get 99 from sam since he wont be needing it

Meh. He'll be a SDE. If he get past 270-280 and loses his quickness, then I'll agree.

Herron looked about 255, not 236 like he's listed at

We dont have a "SDE". We play LE/RE. We put Mingo on the left to line up against RT and Montgomery on right to line up against the LT.

He's at 265 right now, that's already right at 270 just about, he gets in with moffitt and puts on even better weight...well, you know the story.

I dont think Chavis will change his defensive philosophy. He doesnt have a SDE/WDE. Just keeps guys on each side.

Not arguing that, just stating the sad reality.
