The one in Houston is actually worth it since its all the top places for $35 a person. Baton Rouge only has a couple of places that are worth $35 a person on the normal menu, much less a preselected one.

The post was largely ignored for the better part of 24 hours, until you had to highlight and make an issue of it.

The Missus and I will be visiting one or two local places. I'm a big fan of Doe's, so I'll cast a vote for that. But we haven't been to Bistro Byronz in years and we've never really eaten at Stroube's (just gotten drinks and apps.)
Quick question: Do you need to make reservations in advance? Or can we just roll up one night and get the deals?

Depends on where but during the week probably not. Friday and Saturday I'd make a reservation.
I've been doing Jubans three and four course for the last two months. 4 for $40 is a deal.

I think reservations are recommended but who knows what the turn out will be throughout the week. IT is the first year doing it. I personally love bistro byronz so i definitly recommend that place.

Elaborate. I have never been to Juban's. Are they doing this for a limited time, or do they just have these 3 and 4 course pre-fixe menus all the time?
