First, you need to learn the quote function.

Second, assume you are referring to La. season limits. I would also assume he may go to MS or TX or other locales.

I was awakened this morning to a creaking clanking sound, turns out it was my down the street neighbor chambering a round. It was deafening

I don't know how that guy goes about chambering a round in the stand but it's pretty easy to do it quietly. I usually just pull the bolt back slowly about 3/4, shove one more bullet down into the chamber/barrel, then slowly slide it back closed.

I make more noise unzipping my damn backpack and anything I have on me that's velcro

I'll bite......so what do you think is wrong with the old style 700 trigger? If you are basing your info from a bullshite cnbc report, then I don't want to be at your camp either.

CSB ahead

Saturday evening I unloaded my rifle in a ground blind after dark with a buck on the pipeline about 50 yards away. He didn't pick his head up until I dropped my flashlight.

Rednecks doing amateur gunsmithing on them and causing mayhem, fa sho

CSB:

I had an old guy bragging to me about the rifle he uses, old rem 700 30-06, he said it's got a hair trigger, he had a guy he knows work on the trigger a long time ago and now he just has to barely pull it and it goes off. But he has to be careful, because if he hits the butt on the stand or something when a round is chambered it'll go off.

He was proud of that.

I was just like

Same dude proceeded to brag about his first deer being an 8 point he shot at night spotlighting from a boat with his dad

I drove my 4wheeler all the way to my stand, climbed in it and sat for 4 1/2 hours and drove my 4wheeler back all with my gun loaded and never pointed the muzzle at anybody, had a misfire, or put anyone, including myself in danger
