Just saw an advert for the new season, I was intrigued. Did anybody catch the first season? Is it worth giving a watch? Critics seem to be 50/50 on it.

I watched all of it, hoping for it to get better, but it really didn't.
ETA: There were scenes where Cheadle did a good job, but a 30 min comedy drama is a weird format.

I endured maybe four episodes before giving up on it. Terrible show. No redeeming qualities. For a lesser known Showtime series, try Episodes. It's a nice little show that gets better as it goes on.

I used to be in the consulting business so I liked it. Not at all accurate but funny enough.

LOVE it.
My favorite new show last year, Bell and Cheadle are dynamite together.
Got really good the further it went on leading up to an epic season finale, got 3 of my friends addicted to it.
Jan 13th can't come fast enough.

Very witty and funny show. Just watch it, only 30 minutes per episode.

I enjoyed it. The series got better as the season progressed.

I was surprised at how shitty it was. Even Don Cheadle's acting which is usually very high caliber was mediocre on the show. I personally think he was miscast. Someone like Idris Elba aka Stringer Bell would have much a better choice for that role. Nonetheless, the writing and direction would still have prevented the show from being any good even with the ideal cast.

I agree with you. Love Episodes. I was surprised by how much I liked LeBlanc. I know he's basically playing an exaggerated version of himself but his character absolutely makes that show.
