Could be a player, certain game, draft pick or anything really.
Obviously SP coming back is going to be #1 for most.

For me, it's Nick Toon. After what is basically a redshirt year for him, Drew is going to be getting another big bodied receiver that runs good routes, and has strong hands. Combined with 2 1,000 yard receivers, a 1,000 yard TE (well 983 to be exact), and the young and developing Joe Morgan, our receiving corps should look really good next year.

Looking forward to seeing Ingram's development and seeing how we rebuild the defense.

Our head coach back obviously.

ETA- toon won't make the roster.

Ingram sucks....with some more reps he could develop into a 3.4ypc back who will still run straight into the line

Drew Brees breaking Dan Marino's passing yards record for the 3rd time.

I lean towards Ivory, but Ingram did show some improvement. In order to know what he can do for sure, they would have to run the hell out of him, and I don't see that happening this coming season. We'll be talking about this for a couple more years at least I think.

I agree. Although he might make the team I just don't have a good feeling about Toon at all. Morgan takes over for Devery and Toon will find himself battling for a roster spot.

Why? Because he was a fourth round pick? Let's just say I have a hunch.

Unless he is struggling with injuries again, I don't see him not making the roster. But that's just my opinion, obviously.

I just think if he's healthy he has enough talent to make the team and produce

Sean Payton coming back
Ingram building off a solid year
Cam Jordan getting better and better
A first round pick
Hopefully a second round as well
Some new blood in the secondary
No Drew Brees hold out
No bounty talk
Graham getting even better (if possible)
Adding an explosive receiver (a hunch)

I enjoy the offseason talk here prolly more than regular season. The tard tide gets overwhelming once the games start- all the more so when things aren't rainbows and unicorns.

So before the season I look forward just as much to see what cap magic Loomis can do in the free agent market. He consistently gets more and better players signed than I think possible.

Of course as one of the resident draftaholics I love anticipating who might become the next Cameron Jordan, Jimmy Graham, or Colston. I'm pretty proud of picking Akiem Hicks to the Saints in my final mock last year (5th Rd not 3rd). The higher you pick the clearer the pick options are. Even better is that at #15 it is possible to get a guy that comes in and takes over a position for a decade. Woohoo, Khaseem Greene in the 3rd Rd!

sarcasm I hope? Maybe just one zero too many?

Now Greg Romeus, now you're talking change. Between Tez Wilson, Galette, & him we gotta score at least one impact situational role player at least

Sarcasm, I hope?

He needs to hang up his cleats before he can't walk anymore.

There was a brief moment when Romeus was considered by some to be the best DE in college football. Now are the odds stacked against him? Absolutely.

What I like about him is that there is zero risk and investment. If he finds the field we profit big time.

So why not pull for the kid and hope for the best?
