IMO, our defense is always gonna give up pts bc of the style of offense we play so I really think we need to find a playmaker who can force the much needed TOs.

Sharper showed how important he was during our SB run just bc he had a knack to force TOs. We need someone with that sort of skill set.

I will always believe that the first thing we need to get is a beer belly in the middle. That will help the DEs with the pass rush that we all want so badly.

Things I would like to see this offseason

A stud Db (ball hawking)

a good pass catching TE to compliment Graham (ex. Hernandez/ Gronkowski works well for Pats)

a SS that can cover

a right tackle that can block.

Unload Will Smith, Roman Harpers salary on other teams for draft picks.

Badger. I'm officially all aboard the badger train. If he brings even 10% of what Sharper gave us, that's huge

I agree. I think we need a dominant pass rusher. Look at the cowboys game. Even when we are up by 14 points, we allow the other team to quickly get back in the game because we can't put any pressure on the QB. That's why I wouldn't mind a guy like Mingo in the draft. Not an every down player, but a guy you can put at LBer/DE and just let him put pressure on the QB. A la Dwight Freeny, Demarcus Ware or Terrell Suggs.

Whaaa?? Please don't use Mathieu's name in the same sentence as Sharper's. In no way, shape,or form is a purple and gold pot head who can't put down the blunt long enough to keep the cushiest gig he'll ever have comparable to a future HoF'er.

Besides, the Saints already have DBs on the roster that bring 10% of what Sharper brought. They need someone to bring closer to 70-80% percent of what Sharper brought.

10% of Harper would be 0.9 interceptions. Why would we settle for that. I agree we need someone better that isn't a pothead

Try to follow my logic:

-Running backs (besides AP) are not that valuable.
-You want to trade our starting running back. Which means you think he's expendable and we can get some one else to easily replace him.
-What makes you think anyone else would want a running back like that?
-What would you expect to get in return?
-Not a defensive playmaker. Those are hard to find. RBs are a dime a dozen and have short NFL shelf lives.

So to answer your question. NO

I think Sharper makes the NFL HOF at some point.

He has 63 career regular season interceptions, placing him sixth all time and he took 11 of them back for touchdowns, which ranks him third only to Hall of Famer Rod Woodson & Charles Woodson who have 12.

He's a 5 time pro bowler, 6 time all pro, has a Super Bowl ring and was voted to the all 2000's decade team.

I don't want to say lock, but he's pretty close to being a lock.

Yeah we def shouldn't consider a kid who had one of the greatest two year spans for a defensive player in college ever. Oh and dot forget Heisman finalist who probably would have won the damn award this year.

It also cracks me up that you think weed will be his downfall in the NFL. They drug test maybe once a year in the NFL or maybe a little more? You're telling me you don't think at least 50-75% of current NFL players don't smoke weed or do worse drugs?

Janoris Jenkins says hello. Who I might add had 4 picks returning 3 of them for TDs as a rookie.

Well done stating your case sir. After observing the above stats (yet not fact-checking them), I'm inclined to agree with you.

Most of them didn't fail multiple drug tests and get kicked off of their college teams only to get arrested for drug possession a few months later
