Before I start, I just want to say how excited I am for LSU and I feel extremely comfortable with this upcoming bowl game. I base this off of how successful Miles is in preparing the LSU football team with previous bowl games.

Q: Is Jeremy Hill going to contribute like he did as a freshmen next year?
The reason I'm asking this is because in 2010 when LSU defeated Texas A&M in the cotton bowl, Spencer Ware had a breakout game rushing over 100 yards in what was really his first time seeing playing time. Then coming into the 2011 season, he was having a positive season putting up good numbers until he failed a drug test.... Which then gave Kenny Hilliard the opportunity to step in and shine. Against Auburn he played amazing and didn't look back from there. He had a total of 3 TD in the SEC champ game vs UGA. For a freshmen, Kenny H played amazing and I was really looking forward to seeing him continue his success this year. Then Jeremy Hill got his chance against USC and he played amazing. He has not looked back since and I am expecting a very good game from him against Clemson to finish off a wonderful season. With this all in mine, my question is do you think he will put up if not the same but better numbers in the 2013 football season? Or will he contribute little by little (which I have no problem with) along with Ware, Blue, Hilliard, Ford and possibly Magee. Hill is a very talented back but I would love to see Blue's full potential next year along with Hilliard in the backfield with Hill.

Just something I have been thinking about and want some opinions from you tiger fans!

P.S. : this is off my iPhone so excuse any grammar mistakes.

Thanks.

LSU is choosing to not take any RBs in the 2013 class to make the depth chart as appealing as possible for Leonard Fournette. For that reason, a freshman won't be able to burst onto the scene like the last 3 seasons.

I think so...He'll be better next season with another year of conditioning and preparation. Could be my imagination, but he seemed to lose a half step in the last couple of games.

With the glut of backs...it seems to me that whoever works the hardest in the offseason is the one who will get the reps.

Seems each year someone fades and another becomes the primary. They're all good though. Hopefully Hill claims the position for the next 2-3 yrs.

As long as Hill works hard in the offseason, I think he will have a great season. I think he would have a shot at the heisman if he was a feature back. With that said I think Ford and/or Ware are gone to the draft. I'm thinking for sure Ware, probably not Ford.

I really like Spencer Ware. I believe he was our only 5 star recruit that yr and he snubbed the Buckeyes to travel down to the Bayou. We should all thank him for that. That was a huge momentum shift for LSU recruiting to reach that far North and land a 5 star recruit. With that being said Jeremy Hill is greatness. He will go down as one of the all time greats here. He and Blue are are going to be special and both will be NFL high draft picks, if healthy.
Hilliard is a good power back but lacks agility.
Ford can turn the corner faster than anyone ive seen in a while and I really dont know what to say about him. If he is in the game and gets the ball he's going outside, unfortunately Im not the only one that has recognized this.

I think HIlliard has a more agility than you woudl expect forma power back like that, but jsut lacks that burst, that Jeremy HIll seems to have a little more of. I think they both will benefit from more snaps once the backfield starts to clear out.

Looking forward to Blue being back.

Everybody continues to say Hill will carry the baton going forward but IDK about that. Blue is faster, shiftier and is strong enough to run between tackles. Hill had a slight injury in one of the games and had lost a step finishing out the year. Honestly together I think both are a dynamic pair and will probably be used like Blue and Hilliard the first 3 games.

I don't know if they are early draft picks.

Rb is not the same in the nfl anymore. You can get good backs in the later rounds.

Hill will be great, but they will still split carries because they are all capable of having big games. I know the rant likes to play favorites, butif the other guys are healthy and working hard, they deserve carries as well.

Maybe them two moved.
EBRP detention center doesn't count.

I think hill will. But everyone is jumping all over hill and forgetting about blue and what a complete back he is. There is a reason he was starting and getting the carries in the beginning of the season.

Nobody was talking about Alfred blue until few months ago.
I'm not suggesting he isn't worthy, I'm just saying for most he was 3rd, prob 4th in most people minds.
And that was before the emergence of JH.

He's gotta prove it all I can say.
Hope he gets chances to tomorrow night.

We will see. It's a competitive backfield. Your right I don't think many people saw hill and blue be the guys. Many people me included thought Hilliard would be the man this year. We will see how these guys progress in off season. Who knows for next year
