It absolutely lives up to the hype. Just an amazing beer. It blew Deschutes Abyss 2011 away.

I was talking to a friend from Chicago yesterday. I asked him if he could get me Dark Lord and he said "I would rather bang a goat than drink Dark Lord. It fricking sucks arse. Don't believe the hype"

It was delicious and lived up to the hype. I wouldn't go camp out for days for the chance to drink it again but it by no means sucks arse.
