Hope Willis is watching UCLA get schooled by lowly Baylor!

If he is talking about winning championships, UCLA is the last place he needs to go!

Sometimes a double edged sword. "Man, I could go there and start right away". Honestly, aside from distance, what's the debate? DBU vs ummmmm, ummmmm...... Kenny Easley? 1980.

distance is a big factor and UCLA is a major program, if he's good he will get drafted from there just as easy as he can from LSU.

Not worried about UCLA on the field but when it comes to signing Willis, all other schools should be very worried about UCLA. They are the favorites and have a very good recruiting staff.

To add to this discussion, you guys have to remember that there was a time, when Saban 1st got rolling with recruits, that people probably said the same about LSU when we were getting killed by other schools. Have to start somewhere. Maybe Willis, Goodman, and the kids in this class are UCLA's Spears, Clayton etc that we were fortunate enough to get signed when we probably weren't the best option at the time according to perception.

They are the favorites in intranet.....in real life they are the long shot.

I hope your right because that would mean we're in a great spot but everything out about Priest points to UCLA. Not going to USC, ND wll get Redfield and Nebraska, while in it, likely sits outside the top 3.

Was that the real UCLA or an aberration. I thought they were much better than that but seems that the West coast teams get talked up better than they actually are. ie USC preseason #1

The west teams do get talked up to be better than they actually are. Have to think that there is a whole coast of the country with some major markets in them to push the hype machine. The simple fact is that most(if not all) of those teams are soft and not really capable of competing with southern(southeast, Texas) talent on a physical level. Different mindset inside for a lot of west coast kids. That laid back or flashy attitude that people say are traits of CA holds more truth than you'd think. Not typecasting all the kids but the overall landscape.

This is not true! Players need exposure! LSU is on TV all the time.
