The Music Fest in Steamboat, CO

It's actually mostly people in their late 20s to early 40s. The musicians just hang out and jam and get drunk. It's supposed to be a really awesome time, but it's pricey, wristbands can be hard to come by and it sells out really quickly. I've always had something come up so I've never made it but I'll get there someday. It's always the worst week of the year for me because all my friends are gone

I'd say do it if you ever get the chance.

If you can swing it you should definitely go. Dickson events are extremely well run and a good time. I'm actually jealous, I'm friends with most of the bands playing and I STILL don't get to go. I have to shut off my ears for weeks afterwards because I hate hearing about how much fun everyone had without me

It's one of the only musical experiences that I'm dying to have that has not yet come to fruition. I WILL get there someday, dammit.
