Got another bottle of the JPS 18 for Christmas, will crack that open before the new year...almost sprung for the Colonel Taylor uncut/unfiltered this year, but stumbled upon some Augustiner Edelstoff, so I had to buy up all of it...

Was never partial to the Four Roses regular or small batch, but love the subtle bite the Single Barrel brings...halfway through a bottle at the house, enjoying it this season...

The real question is do I prepare it neat, one cube or two cubes?

The wife gave me a bottle of Colonel Taylor Single Barrel as a stocking stuffer. I have not yet tried it. Did she choose well?

Enjoyed some 30 year old Glenfiddich the last couple of days... wife bought me a bottle a couple of years back and I break it out on special occasions. As fine a Scotch as there is....

9 Pages of response and NO ONE- NADA mentioned the Hottest Selling- Highest Rated Spirit in the US right now.....Angels Envy....Bourbon finished in Port Wine Barrels! About $35(Costco)- $48 (Specks)! Gave away 30 bottles as XMAS gifts to customers and everyone asked where to get it cuz they had never heard of it before... and soon Costco was out and Specks was out! And this is a hard-core high price whiskey/Scotch group of Customers/Doctors! It's an awesome value for sure!

I went over to my friends house and her dad just has tons of alcohol out and I never really thought anything of it. But I glanced at some of them and realized he had a special edition Macallan 25 just sitting there right in my face. Now I have to convince him to let me try it!

Every store in Tampa has tons of bottles of this stuff right now. I've never heard of it so I asked the store owner about it. He told me he's not tried it personally and that its been a bust thus far as it's not selling at all.

Great bourbon, pretty heavy oak taste to it and the alcohol content is pretty high (120 proof). Nice with a few ice cubes...
